Children who encounter early reading and writing problems often become less motivated, develop lower expectations of their abilities and gain less practice reading and writing. Consequently they may fall behind their peers in academic areas.

Activities focus on developing phonemic awareness (the sounds letters make), phonological awareness (rhyming) and meta- linguistic knowledge (word, syllable, letter, sound).

We also focus on written language skills and literacy skill development of children and teens.
